In this article, I will share with you the 7 tools that help me create more quickly in Figma!
Having the right tools will help you work efficiently and meet deadlines. Here are some examples of tools I've used to successfully complete my design projects:
Figma Tool #1: Unsplash
Unsplash is a high-quality image bank that allows me to easily add images to my designs without negatively impacting their quality, thanks to this plugin.
Figma Tool #2: Image Palette
Image Palette is a Figma plugin that allows me to extract and create a color palette from an image.
Figma Tool #3: Stark
A plugin that allows me to manage color contrasts. Today, accessibility is a top priority in the digital world, and it's essential to have websites that comply with these standards. Stark easily helps me ensure compliance while providing colors that have a good contrast.
Figma Tool #4: AutoFlow
As the name suggests, this Figma plugin, AutoFlow, allows you to create and test user experiences. It is a screen-by-screen tool that simplifies the creation of user experiences in your Figma mockup or project.
Figma Tool #5: Iconify / Material Design
One of the most useful Figma plugins (Iconify) for creating designs that closely resemble reality, this clever plugin is a library of icons that gives me access to a majority of icons a designer might need for their interfaces (as a bonus, the SVG files are perfectly suited for websites)!
Figma Tool #6: Content Reel
Content Reel is a Figma tool that allows you to generate content for your website or application in the form of images, icons, or text!
Figma Tool #7: Splite Shape
Splite Shape is a plugin that helps me arrange blocks proportionally, while respecting the flexibility of columns and rows. A useful tool that makes it easier for developers to read the layout.
These are my 7 favorite tools that I use in my designs on Figma! They allow me to save time and work more efficiently. What about you? Do you have any designer tools to share? Send me a message on LinkedIn!
