In 1 year at Digidop, a team of 4 people, we have created;
- + 250 blog articles,
- + 100 YouTube videos,
- + 100 tool sheets.
This amount of content creation may seem impressive. And yet, it's accessible!
How? With a strategy based on establishing a habit.
The best strategy for content creation
👉 The routine: Yes, routines have their benefits!
Let me tell you a story...
In Q1 and Q2 of 2022, we published web content daily.
The act of creating daily generated a "magical" energy within the team, motivated by the desire to never break this chain.
We could easily feel this energy whenever the publication queue in our CMS (blog) or our YouTube Studio cleared...
Then, we broke the chain.
One day, an article wasn’t published. Then two… And the “magic” of the chain was gone. A sense of relaxation set in. (Very similar to a sports routine!)
But we learned something important. Our mistake.
The mistake was allowing that day without publication to not be “unique.” But instead, we accepted “two days” without publication, then three… and so on.
Creating a lot of content: the 3 key points 👇
1. Establish a content creation routine
2. Do not allow this routine to break
"Don't break the magic chain"
3. If, one day, it breaks, get back on track as quickly as possible!
Routine broken? 😰
Here are my 3 tips to get it back on track;
- Highlight the benefits this content creation has brought (SEO position, credibility, business and partnership opportunities, etc.)
- Remind everyone of the stakes (vital 🏥) of this content creation!
- Set individual and collective (quantifiable) goals for the team
Bonus: repurpose your content (cross-platform)
When time seems to be short, don’t hesitate to "recycle" your content. Why repurpose your content on different platforms?
- You may not have the same audiences across different platforms (YouTube, LinkedIn, Blog, social networks, etc...). Share your quality content with all your audience!
- The formats are not the same. However, it's easier to adapt content to a different format (audio, long/short text) than to create it from scratch.
- Time. Repurposing your content can save you a lot of time! (No need to go through the idea research, examples, etc...)
Example?

Now it’s your turn!
