In just one year, we went from 0 to over 10,000 clicks (SEO) per month on our site Webflow. Without any link building, without Google Ads, and with a brand new domain name!
How? 👇
With a simple recipe;
- Technical expertise
- Hard work
- Choosing the right tools
Let me tell you the story...
Context
February 2021: purchase of the domain name Digidop.fr (domain authority 0)
March 2021: the site had about 5 pages
May 2021: launch of an SEO strategy (organic search on Google) for Digidop.fr
May 2022: over 3 million impressions and 10k clicks per month (domain authority 46)
1 - The Technique
There are around thirty best practices to follow on your website to optimize it for SEO. We adhere to all of them;
- Structure of Hn (H1, H2, H3, etc.)
- Optimized loading speed of pages
- Alt text tag on all images
- Structured data
- Sitemap
- Optimized title tag and meta description
- Etc...

2 - The Work
It's no secret; in SEO (like in life?) you get nothing without putting in the effort. To achieve these results, we established a content production system.
We published articles almost daily on our blog for nearly a year.
To keep up the pace, here are some tips:
- Whenever you learn something new, turn it into a "How to" article
- Want to share information with your team? Instead of sending an email or making a call, write an article. You can share it with them later.
- Read up on what's happening in the US (often, you can simply adapt it for a French audience)
These 3 habits will help you create a content production routine without ever running out of inspiration!
3 - The Right Tools
"There are no bad tools, only bad..."
In SEO, in my opinion... that's FALSE! The right tools help you achieve your goals. Here’s our stack 👇
1. Webflow

2. Dokey
Dokey.io for writing SEO-optimized blog articles 📝
3. Text Optimizer

4. Google Search Console

5. Semrush

6. Weglot
Weglot to make our site multilingual while optimizing SEO internationally 🌍
Bonus: Adopt a Zorro Circles Strategy
When challenges arise, our rational brain can be hijacked by emotions. The principle of "Zorro Circles" teaches us to regain control by first focusing on modest, achievable goals. Then, gradually expanding our circle to reach increasingly larger objectives.
If I had to give you one piece of advice for SEO strategy, it would be to focus on the Zorro Circles principle. By doing so, you'll accumulate "quick wins" that will deliver initial business results and help maintain your motivation.
SEO Results for Digidop.fr
After one year, here’s where we stand;
- Domain authority: 0 → 46
- Blog articles: 0 → 225
- Indexed pages on our site: 0 → + 700
- Monthly traffic: 0 → + 10,000
100% of our acquisition is based on inbound marketing, with no outreach involved. And it works! Therefore, I can only encourage you to adopt an inbound acquisition strategy as soon as possible.
My advice for keeping up motivation 🤓
The Zorro Circles!
To start, focus on niche researches. These may be small queries with low search volume, but they also present low competition. Seeing your site rank first for these types of "quick win" searches will (1) keep your spirits up and (2) generate business if your product/service meets this niche market!
