Key points

This is a question I frequently get asked.

What is the best way to learn to create websites using the no-code tool Webflow?

The answer is simple: be obsessed with Webflow.

(⚠️ This isn't the only way, but you asked me for the best one.)

Being obsessed with learning to create with Webflow

In my opinion, the obsession to learn how to master Webflow is the best way to learn it. I learned this way, and those I’ve seen rapidly improve their skills on Webflow share this common trait.

When I discovered Webflow in early 2021, I became obsessed and passionate about learning how to use it. I dove right in and took action.

I would wake up eager to create and test as many things as possible and went to bed thinking about what I would accomplish the next morning. Like a video game, I "played" at developing in the designer. And like a video game, I found it hard to tear myself away, haha 🎮. I couldn’t stop until I had finished creating my idea.

The more I played, the more ideas I had. And the more ideas I had, the more I wanted increasingly complex features.

Theory < Action

And...

Action + Passion = (very) rapid results

This process repeated itself with demanding clients who pushed me to go above and beyond to deliver the website of their dreams.

Within a year, I became a recognized expert in the tool.

So,

"If you're obsessed with learning to master Webflow, that's a very good sign. Results will come quickly."

Bonuses for learning Webflow (training, content, blog)

Beyond playing in the designer, there are various training options available to speed up this process.

In addition to getting hands-on and taking action daily, I used different platforms to help me learn Webflow.

  • YouTube: 80%
  • Blog: 15%
  • Slack Channels: 5%

The numbers tell the story. My favorite learning platform is by far YouTube (and not just for learning Webflow; YouTube is genuinely a fantastic platform, but that's another topic...).

So here are my top 3 channels for learning Webflow! (The only downside is that 90% of the content on Webflow online is in English... but we will do everything we can to share as much as possible in French with you!!)

To conclude...

From beginner to expert, using Webflow is a journey. A continuous learning experience. No-code -> HTML -> CSS -> JavaScript... Utilizing a web creation tool with so many possibilities will offer you countless opportunities.

Make the most of it!
