Key points

There are hundreds of no-code tools available, but as a Webflow developer, if I had to choose only 7 tools for my 2024 stack, they would be the following:

Short version ↓

  1. Relume Library (AI): Accelerating your development process
  2. Finsweet Chrome Extension: 80+ tech features specifically designed to push the boundaries of Webflow.
  3. Midjourney (AI): Using AI to generate images as an alternative to traditional stock photo libraries.
  4. ChatGPT (AI): Do I really need to explain?
  5. Figma: The perfect tool for merging design and collaboration.
  6. Squoosh.app: A free and effective tool to reformat your images.
  7. Detailed SEO extension: A handy all-in-one tool for easily auditing a site's SEO.

Long version ↓

1 — Relume Library (AI)

With its numerous features;

  • Responsive component library for copy/pasting into Figma and Webflow
  • AI-generated sitemaps and/or wireframes
  • AI-generated copywriting for web wireframes
  • SVG icon library
  • Chrome extension for the Webflow interface

The Relume Library is the tool that significantly accelerates my development process.

💶 Price: Starting at $38 per month

💡 It’s important to view this price as an investment: if this tool allows you to create double the sites per year, the $38 per month will be quickly justified.

2 — Finsweet Chrome Extension

Example of the Unbind CMS feature of the Finsweet Extension

With over 80 features developed specifically to enhance your workflow, the Finsweet Chrome Extension is by far the best technical extension for Webflow.

Aside from the well-known Finsweet attributes, the ‘Unbind CMS’ feature, which allows for disconnecting a CMS collection from a set of elements, is probably my favorite feature.

3 — Midjourney (AI)

Midjourney is an AI that allows you to generate stunning, unique, and customizable images in just minutes based on a prompt.

It's a perfect alternative for replacing empty placeholders when delivering a project (if the client’s content isn’t ready) or for adding a more personalized touch compared to the well-known and overused images from free stock photo libraries like Pexels or Unsplash.

💶 Price: Starting at $8 per month

4 — ChatGPT (AI)

Do I really need to explain? 😉 The use cases for this AI are numerous:

  • Fixing broken code,
  • Generating JavaScript code,
  • Quickly editing custom CSS code,
  • Copywriting for the client's website (e.g., Titles and Meta Tags, replacing Lorem Ipsum, etc.)

5 — Figma

Example of a Figma mockup for an artistic website

Figma is a powerful design tool that is both intuitive and collaborative. It’s an essential no-code tool for any Webflow developer to master in order to:

  • Create SVG shapes to integrate into the website development,
  • Crop visuals to be integrated into a specific project or layout,
  • Communicate with clients or designers in charge of the project (Testing & iterations, feedback, questions?) from a single interface,

and in many other use cases...

6 — Squoosh.app

Example of using the Squoosh image converter

Squoosh is a simple and intuitive tool developed by Google that allows you to resize and compress your images into different formats: WebP, MozJpeg, etc. Just drag and drop your visuals and choose the transformations you wish to apply in the features panel.

It's a real advantage for integrating images into your Webflow site while following best practices. This ensures that the entire site loads quickly once published.

Bonus: You can manage the quality and compression level to maintain a sharp rendering.
