Finsweet unveils the new version of Client-First. Client-first becomes Client-First V2!
What are the differences between V1 and V2?
In broad terms, V2 of Client-First includes:
- A new integrated technology (Folder),
- Additional explanations,
- An optimization of the usage and naming of certain classes: custom classes, utility classes, and global classes,
- A new version for the Cloneable Style Guide,
- A new spacing system for the padding of sections,
- Heading style: standardization of heading sizes to find the perfect balance between design and SEO,
- Introduction of a new class: the class <inlineflex> (a mix between a flexbox and the inline feature, not native in the Webflow designer),
- Client-first becomes Client-First (capital F)

New feature: folders
The first version of Client-First already allowed for a comprehensive and organized structure in your Webflow site. But today, you can go even further with folders. Folders let you visually organize your classes into large categories and much more.
What are the benefits of using Folders? An even better-organized Webflow site!

⚠️ Depending on the size of your site, migrating classes can be a significant task. The first version of Client-first is still a relevant method.
Therefore, it is not necessarily essential to consider a redesign from V1 to V2, but rather to change your future habits!
