Key points

The success of a SaaS product doesn’t rely solely on the quality of its features. Giants like Salesforce or SAP have shown it clearly: a strong partner network is essential to support clients, expand product reach, and accelerate adoption.

That’s exactly the logic behind Webflow’s creation of its certified partner network: the Webflow Partner Program.

A structured program with four tiers, designed to showcase the expertise of Webflow specialists and support the long-term growth of the web design platform.

1. The Webflow Partner Program

Since its launch in 2017 (initially known as the “Experts” program), the Webflow Partner Program has become the go-to space connecting agency and freelance offerings with the increasing demand from companies adopting Webflow. Since its inception, the program has:

  1. Boosted Webflow’s adoption (the CMS now holds over 1% market share in 2025)
  2. Provided visibility, credibility, and resources to thousands of partners
  3. Helped many companies successfully migrate and scale with Webflow

In 2024, the program evolved into the Certified Partner Program.

Unlike the previous “Webflow Expert” badge, the new program introduces four distinct tiers, giving Webflow new ways to nurture its ecosystem and helping companies better assess a partner’s technical expertise.

2. How Webflow classifies agencies and freelancers

Webflow ranks both agencies and freelancers based on performance and involvement in the ecosystem.

This classification, updated annually, currently includes over 2,000 partners split across four levels.

2.1 The 4 partner levels (from entry to top-tier):

  • Certified Partner – Entry-level status. Requires passing official certifications and experience across multiple Webflow projects.
  • Premium Partner – Advanced status for partners with a strong impact: project volume, execution quality, community engagement, etc.
  • Certified Partner Enterprise – An additional distinction for Certified Partners with proven experience on Enterprise-level projects.
  • Premium Partner Enterprise – The highest tier in the program, combining Premium Partner status with Enterprise recognition.

These statuses allow partners to grow within the program, gaining visibility, trust from potential clients, and access to new business opportunities directly shared by Webflow.

That’s why many freelancers and agencies aim to move up within the program.

2.2 How to move up in the program?

Webflow uses a point-based scoring system to evaluate partners on multiple criteria, measuring quality, impact, and involvement:

  • Number of Webflow projects delivered
  • Quality of work
  • Completion of official certifications (Webflow University)
  • Community involvement (events, content, product feedback…)
  • Experience on Webflow Enterprise projects
  • Integration and upselling of related services (add-ons, localization, etc.)

2.3 Notable Webflow Partners in 2025

Among all partners, some stand out and are regularly highlighted during the annual Webflow Awards ceremony.

Here are 3 examples of partners recognized for the quality of their work:

3. Benefits of the Webflow Partner Program

3.1 For businesses looking for experts

The program helps companies find the right Webflow partner via the official marketplace.

Displayed statuses and areas of expertise (SEO, design, migration, CMS, etc.) make it easier to identify the best-fit profiles for each project.

3.2 For Webflow agencies and freelancers

The program offers real, tangible benefits:

  • Increased credibility with prospects
  • Visibility in the official Partner Directory
  • Access to qualified Webflow leads
  • Recognition within the ecosystem
  • Co-marketing and collaboration opportunities with Webflow

3.3 For Webflow

The partner ecosystem is a strategic growth driver for Webflow. Agencies and freelancers play a key role in selling, integrating, and ensuring the long-term success of Webflow projects.

Without this solid network, many companies — especially at the Enterprise level — would not have chosen Webflow as their website platform.
