After a successful first collaboration with Reecall, Guillaume Laguette, now CRO at echOpen, has once again trusted us for a new project: the launch of a medical product.
Project Context
- Industry: Medical
- Country: France
- Company Type: Mission-driven start-up
- Tools Used: Figma, Webflow, "Client-First" Framework
Who is echOpen?
echOpen is a start-up with the mission to make clinical ultrasound accessible to all healthcare professionals and to play a role in improving population health.
Project Challenges with Digidop
- Launch of a 3-in-1 medical solution: Highlighting a 3-in-1 solution, a portable probe (physical object) combined with two applications (digital solutions) is a real UX challenge.
- Consistency with SaaS: The two applications were simultaneously undergoing a redesign alongside the website.
- Low digital maturity target: The target audience for this product is doctors and hospitals, who generally have low digital maturity; the goal of the website was to explain the product simply and quickly.
- Need for reassurance: The offering is new, and the start-up is still relatively unknown in the sector. Therefore, there is a significant need for reassurance!
- The site must be scalable: echOpen's marketing teams wish to evolve this site, which will be the "V1".
- Time to Market: The site must be launched quickly as V1, as it is essential for starting to communicate about the launch of new offerings and features.
- Legal restrictions: Numerous legal restrictions must be taken into consideration due to the medical sector in which echOpen operates.
Strategy and Solutions
- UX-FIRST designed mockup: The goal is to convey the message easily.
- Product-focused UX/UI: From Figma, we collaborated closely with echOpen's teams to showcase the product in the best possible way, anticipating all the questions a future practitioner user might have. We also needed to coordinate our efforts with Product Designers to maintain graphic consistency between the App and Website design systems.
- Resource Hub: Implementation of a resource "hub" including: blog, customer feedback, videos, press releases, and various applications of the probe (for different medical specialties) to address reassurance challenges. Additionally, combined with best development practices, this will help echOpen achieve good SEO results.
- Webflow Development: We used the Low-Code development tool Webflow to quickly develop echOpen's website with the best web standards. By integrating the Client-First framework and training echOpen's team on the Webflow CMS interface, they will be able to independently manage and evolve their new site.
- Support: The current site is a V1, and the start-up aims to evolve rapidly. We have therefore proposed and implemented tools to continue our collaboration and support in the coming years. (Notion, Ticketing, Slack)
Results
- A site that meets the start-up's challenges: The new site, designed with a UX-first approach, allows doctors to easily understand the product while reassuring them about its quality through numerous reassurance factors.
- Undoubtedly strong SEO results: Updates coming in a few months....
