The Webflow Project Les BerThoM in Paragraphs
For the BerThoM, bars are places that bring people together, spaces where one can freely gather in a healthy atmosphere to share good times.
Their website was no longer suitable due to:
- Technical issues
- Navigation problems (many hidden pages, not all of which were useful)
- A outdated technology
The objectives of the redesign on Webflow were:
- To highlight the various bars
- To emphasize the recruitment section
- To give the brand a fresh boost with a site that appeals to franchisees
To address the BerThoM's challenges and needs, we proceeded in several stages:
1 - UX Consideration
Based on the previous issues and new requirements (studied during the Design Sprint phase) of the client, we proposed a wireframe on Figma. This pre-design structure of the site is crucial as it determines which pages will be significant and how everything will then be developed in Webflow.
2 - UI Design of the Mockup on Figma
Once the UX was approved, we were able to propose a mockup that incorporated the graphic elements provided by BerThoM with personalized touches to create a unique environment.
The goal: to feel as comfortable on the site as if you were in a BerThoM bar.
3 - Client-First Development in Webflow
When the mockup was validated, we recreated it in Webflow using best practices in web development. We developed the site following the Client-First methodology.
Furthermore, we ensured that the site could be easily edited by the BerThoM teams to grant them autonomy. The CMS for this project was quite complex, but the simplicity of the editor mode and the client's determination resulted in a complete site.
4 - SEO Optimizations and Automations
Throughout development (and even during the Design phase), we thought carefully to provide a site that could be visible on search engines. We worked with the client to optimize various technical aspects of the site to ensure good online visibility.
We also set up automations between the site and various tools (using Make) to minimize tedious and repetitive tasks related to managing the website.
5 - Project Management until Launch
Throughout the project, we communicated with the BerThoM teams to provide optimal customer service and support.
The entire feedback phase on the design was managed directly in Figma and on Markup for comments on the site. We also utilized Loom to answer specific questions, ensuring the client could keep a record of our responses and training sessions.
