Reminder: Client-First is the best development methodology for Webflow sites. It was conceived and created by the agency Finsweet, and is now being internationalized with V2, available in a new language, French.

As an agency, using this development method will greatly enhance your clients' satisfaction upon project delivery.

Here are 3 tips, presented in various learning formats, that will allow you to find the one that suits you best and thus learn faster!

  1. Academic reading,
  2. Learn by doing,
  3. Or video tutorial format!

1. Read the Client-First documentation

It may seem long, academic, and tedious, but you need to go through it! Reading the documentation is essential to understand the entire concept behind Client-First.

However, there are no strict rules or best practices. You can read it at your own pace, reread certain pages several times, and focus your reading efforts only on the chapters of your choice.

The documentation remains an essential resource, which you can return to for support if, one day, you have any doubts.

2. Clone and use the Client-First templates

This method is my favorite. It is the very essence of "Learn by doing" on Webflow. Finsweet has made dozens of templates available in Made In Webflow that you can copy for free.

Take advantage of it!

Once the project is copied to your dashboard, open it and examine how each section was built and named from the inside.

3. Watch Live Builds of websites

There are numerous videos on the Finsweet YouTube channel showcasing website creation on Webflow using the Client-First V2 class naming method. This is a very useful approach for learning in a fun way by watching experts at work.

Personally, it's a format I enjoy using at the end of the day. When I'm tired and want to absorb information fairly easily.

The only drawback: The videos are in English. However, we plan to do more and more live builds in French, focusing on Webflow with Client-First, on the Digidop YouTube channel this year.
