Last week, the DigiTeam organized its first live event on YouTube. In this article, we take you behind the scenes of this successful event and share with you the tools and technical equipment we used (along with some behind-the-scenes images).
Get ready to discover the secrets behind our agency's first Webflow stream!
The Tools
1. Restream.io
To stream our episode live, we chose to use Restream.io. With its intuitive and comprehensive interface, we were able to engage with our community without worrying about technical issues.
2. Figma
To design the presentation visuals and overlays for our stream, we used PowerPoint. Just kidding! We obviously used Figma!
3. YouTube
We selected YouTube as the main platform for our live podcast event. YouTube offers excellent live streaming quality and allows us to reach a wide audience through its search engine and sharing features. Additionally, YouTube makes it easy to archive live videos for viewers to watch later.
The Technical Equipment for the Stream
1. Shure MV7 Microphones x2
To ensure optimal audio quality, we used two Shure MV7 microphones. These microphones are specifically designed for podcasts, providing clear and crisp sound.
2. iMacs x2
We used two iMacs (along with their cameras) for the stream.
3. Apple Trackpad and Magic Keyboard
To facilitate navigation and control of our iMacs, we used Apple trackpads and Magic Keyboards. These accessories offer a smooth and comfortable browsing experience.
4. Keylights x2
To illuminate the room and create a professional atmosphere, we utilized two Keylights. These adjustable LED lights allowed us to modify the intensity and color temperature according to our needs.
5. Fiber Optic Internet
A fast and stable internet connection is essential for a successful stream. Therefore, we opted for a fiber connection to ensure optimal streaming quality and (attempt) to avoid connection issues.
