This is the annual event of the Webflow community: the Webflow Conf. To follow the Webflow Conf 2022 live, there are two available formats:

This year, the Digidop team chose to attend the conference remotely via streaming. Here’s a summary of the key points discussed during the first day:
The Webflow 2022 Keynote
What an introduction!
After an amazing introductory video recounting the history of web development (both front-end and back-end) since the 90s, the spotlight shifted to Vlad, Co-founder & CEO of Webflow.
Vlad continued with a compelling storytelling presentation about the vision and journey of Webflow from its inception (ten years ago now!).
Next, he introduced the three major themes that would be on the agenda.
1. Development Superpower (create more!)
New UI: Components
It's official: symbols are becoming components (like Figma?) and they now have new superpowers. For instance, it's now possible with components to:
- Customize the text of your symbols,
- Integrate dynamic data (CMS) within components,
- Add conditional visibility,
Font Variation: Beta
A new feature available directly from the designer interface: Font Variation.
This feature, natively integrated into your Webflow designer, allows you to customize the visual settings of a font, such as its "weight," with just one click.
No need to download and integrate the entire font family.
Multi-language CMS
Wow. This one is significant!!! Webflow is launching a native feature to transform your site into a multilingual site. It is now possible, without additional tools, to:
- Create pages with specific URLs for different countries,
- Customize the titles and meta descriptions of your site's pages by country,
- Adjust the ALT tags for images on each version of your site,
- Connect to the API of a translation software

It's time! The Apple Store of Webflow is launching. Webflow is officially launching its app store for extensions designed specifically for Webflow.
- Templates
- Plugin integrations
The advantage over WordPress plugins is clear: the available applications will be controlled and verified by Webflow. This will avoid any security issues, just like the Apple Store 😉

This feature unlocks numerous opportunities:
- It will be easier for beginners to create Webflow sites,

- You will be able to develop faster directly from the interface.
Developer Resources
A site that will please tech enthusiasts 💪: developers.webflow.com
A database of resources on the Webflow API to help and share as much information as possible with developers to advance in website creation on Webflow. Together.
