Why connect Brevo (Sendinblue) to Webflow?
Brevo (Sendinblue) is thus a comprehensive tool, and connecting it to your Webflow site is a way to better automate your marketing campaigns.
Save time
This is generally the reason to automate your Webflow site with no-code tools. Save time in your day and stop the copy/paste routine across your various databases. Connecting Brevo (Sendinblue) to Webflow will allow you to automatically manage all the data coming from your site and link it to targeted marketing campaigns.
Automate your data flow
The goal is to connect Brevo (Sendinblue) to Webflow to optimize the data flows between these tools. Let’s take a concrete example. You have two web forms on your Webflow site:
- A contact web form: allows visitors to reach out via your website. You will collect data such as "Name," "First Name," "Email," "Phone," "Subject," and "Message."
- A newsletter web form: where you invite visitors to subscribe to your newsletter by collecting their "Email."
Connecting Brevo (Sendinblue) to Webflow will be a means of directly transferring all this data into your Brevo (Sendinblue) database each time a new web form is submitted. The data will be qualified, and each contact can be added to a specific list, as well as to automated marketing campaigns.
To resume our example, a new contact coming from the contact form will receive an automatic email informing them that their message has been successfully transmitted. Depending on their request, they can also be qualified and integrated into other lists, for instance, to use them later. Similarly, for every new contact from the newsletter form, the email will be added to your newsletter mailing list.
Qualify and target your contacts
Every new contact from your Webflow site will thus be integrated into your database. The advantage of connecting Webflow and Brevo (Sendinblue) is the ability to precisely qualify the source of your leads. You can also automatically add them to mailing lists according to their origin and actions taken on your website.
For instance, it will be possible to send a welcome message, offer a discount on the anniversary of their registration on the site, etc.
Automate your blog
You have the option to share all the latest updates from your site with Brevo (Sendinblue). For example, you could connect your Webflow site's RSS feed to Brevo (Sendinblue) to automate the sending of your latest blog articles to subscribers of your newsletter.
Automate your marketing campaigns
With data flows perfectly automated between Webflow and Brevo (Sendinblue), you will no longer need to manually send email campaigns. Your contacts are added to mailing lists, to automated campaigns, and they will be reassigned to new lists based on their actions on your site. Additionally, the tool will allow you to conduct A/B testing to better understand the behavior and expectations of your customers.
Track your visitors' activity
You can install trackers on your Webflow site to analyze visitor behavior. For example, by adding a tracker to a "learn more" button in Webflow, you can create a tracking event that triggers a scenario in Brevo (Sendinblue). This allows you to create personalized scenarios based on specific actions taken on your website.
Methods to connect Brevo (Sendinblue) to your Webflow site
A fairly simple method proposed by many no-code tools is to install a plugin to connect the tools together. As of now, Brevo (Sendinblue) does not offer a plugin for easy connection to Webflow, but you have other ways to achieve this! 😁
Connect your Webflow forms to Brevo (Sendinblue)
Without a plugin, here are three methods to link the data from your website to your Brevo (Sendinblue) database.
Embed Brevo (Sendinblue) in Webflow
Brevo (Sendinblue) provides a feature to create web forms very easily. A drag-and-drop tool allows you to add fields to your form and customize them according to your needs. This tool offers a responsive form that you can secure with a Captcha and that will be 100% GDPR compliant, with a GDPR field and confirmation emails. Once created and linked to lists in Brevo (Sendinblue), you can easily embed this Brevo (Sendinblue) form in Webflow.
Connect Brevo (Sendinblue) and Webflow with Make (Integromat)
At Digidop, we prefer to limit embed codes to improve our site's speed. This is one of the reasons we prefer using an automation tool like Make (Integromat) to connect Brevo (Sendinblue) and Webflow. Another significant reason is to trigger a chain of actions following an event from our Webflow site.
Using Make (Integromat) will allow us, for instance, to send Webflow data to Brevo (Sendinblue) but also to connect Webflow to Airtable or notify our teams on Slack. Ideal for automating your entire Webflow site 🤩 Whether your workflow is simple or complex, the idea is to combine several tools within the same automation. Additionally, the Webflow module in Make (Integromat) allows you to choose an instant trigger. Thus, for every new action performed on the site, such as submitting a new form, the entire chain will be triggered. The data will, for example, be sent to Airtable, your teams will be notified on Slack, the contact will be added to automated campaigns in Brevo (Sendinblue), etc.
Synchronize your contacts via FTP
You can finally link your Webflow contacts to your Brevo (Sendinblue) database via an SFTP/FTP server. Brevo (Sendinblue) offers you a "Contacts FTP" tool that allows you to connect your web server to your database. You will find this tool in the integrations.
When setting it up, you can associate the data from your server with your Brevo (Sendinblue) contact attributes and select the list you wish to add them to.
☝ Please note that this feature is available with the Brevo (Sendinblue) Enterprise Plan.
☝ Also, note that data transfers are not instantaneous, and you will need to set up daily, weekly, or monthly synchronizations.
Connect your Webflow blog to Brevo (Sendinblue)
Here we will use the RSS feed from your Webflow site to automate your Brevo (Sendinblue) campaigns. RSS and email campaigns are very effective for informing your users about the latest updates to your blog. Thus, email notifications will be automatically sent to your newsletter subscribers to share your latest blog articles. You can easily connect your Webflow blog's RSS link to Brevo (Sendinblue) via the "RSS Campaign" integration.
During the setup of your Webflow RSS campaign, you can select an email template you have already prepared or set up your own. Just remember to add the key tags that correspond to those in your RSS feed to highlight your blog data. Finally, you can, of course, attach these RSS campaigns to one of your Brevo (Sendinblue) lists, but we recommend creating a dedicated list for this RSS campaign.
Install Brevo (Sendinblue) trackers on Webflow
Let’s take automation between Webflow and Brevo (Sendinblue) further by installing trackers on your site! The idea is to track the behavior of your visitors on your website and enrich the data of each of your contacts on Brevo (Sendinblue). Web trackers will thus allow you to create automated scenarios based on specific actions on your website.
For example, you could send a special email to consumers who have viewed a specific product category on your site. A real advantage for e-commerce sites that can, for instance, retarget consumers who did not complete their purchase in their cart.
Brevo (Sendinblue) offers you three methods to install a tracker on your website:
Tracker via Brevo (Sendinblue) plugins
This would be the simplest option if there were a Webflow plugin... But without regrets, let's think about our site's speed! 😁
Tracker Google Tag Manager
This is the solution we recommend! Installing your tracker on Google Tag Manager allows you to maintain the performance of your website, and you can easily set it up on Webflow!
Manual Tracker with JS Tracking Code
The last solution, which is also the most complex, involves manually adding the tracker via a JavaScript tracking code.
